Mark Daniel Kuykendall, better known as The New Honey Shade, is an Oklahoma artist and producer. His work is generally characterized by his production style of melding electronically manipulated field recordings with dusty attic 8mm films. In recent work, he has explored biosonification via his relationship with the flora and fauna on Wild Mountain where he lives in Osage County, Oklahoma.
