This track was actually recorded, kind of by fate, really...on tour in 1999-ish. We were trying to get a gig, but no one in our own state could help us fill a Tuesday, and at the time venues were pretty scarce. Cool ones anyway. Enter Garth in South Bend. Possibly the coolest dude in all of northern Indiana. While he couldn't get us a show on that tour, he did offer to put us up and record some tunes for us (which we did for a 7" that has yet to see the light of day). This was one of the songs from that little sweatbox session. It's probably one of my favorite tunes and times we recorded because there was literally no pressure....just pure 100% fun. Bob, the cat for whom this comp is named, developed feline leukemia shortly thereafter and passed on. (see SLAC 3 for our contribution/homage to Bob)

We are a pop punk band straight from the 90s...no, really. We've been making pop punk music SINCE THE 90s. Nonstop.
Imagine if Green Day joined forces with The Ramones, while Jimmy Eat World and Jawbreaker performed the soundcheck. Face to Face is our merch man and The Smoking Popes, Weezer, and Nerf Herder make up our PR team. What we are trying to say is that YOU'RE GOING TO LIKE US.
