A dumpster full of cedar

They took it all off

Now the house is done shaking

We paid them a lot



No more chipped paint now

But the lead's still in the soil

And new stuff looks like the old stuff

Except it’s made of oil



Oh maybe I shouldn’t be bothered by this

But I wish that I lived in the world where I live

And not in the palm of a logic that isn’t
