The Joint formed in July 1967 from Kent’s Lonely Ones, whose members included a pre-Hendrix Noel Redding, Yardbirds’ Jim Leverton, and Rick Davies before founding Supertramp. Touring Europe, they met composer David Llewelyn and filmmaker George Moorse, recording for Munich underground films. Believed lost for decades, these demos resurfaced on a worn ¼-inch tape, now restored as “Freak Street”
