Release by The John Sojourn

I originally wrote this song when I was in my early 20's. It was about my father who at the time was going through a disability claim and I was supporting him both physically and emotionally.

Over the years my father and I have struggled in our relationship. I've had to come to a place of acceptance and "Release". The original song title was "Hey Mister". I've just decided to focus on the "Release" since today, that's more the point of the song.

The John Sojourn is originally from Honolulu, Hawa'ii and has traveled far and wide, experiencing the world, its people, cultures, and environments. John hopes the music will allow you to have your own sojourn.
