Poisson Fish and Leaf-Fall Autumn ’22 were written and composed by Luke Cowan, and Broken Door, Your Voice and By the River were written and composed by Owen Kennedy, between September 2022 and March 2023. All songs were arranged and performed by the Horse.

This album was recorded live by Tom Wright in London on the 19th of August 2024. The horns for Broken Door were recorded by Luke Cowan and Ben Nicolson in Cambridge on the 7th of December 2024. The pedal steel on Broken Door was recorded by Daniel Wackett. Other overdubs were recorded by Luke Cowan and Owen Kennedy in London and Ely between September 2024 and March 2025.
