If the masses were aware of it then they would have to yield
They wouldn't be able to this so openly, their crimes couldn't be concealed
That's why they're doing everything they can, from bribes to murder, to keep lips sealed
They would love for us to just pretend what they're doing isn't deplorable
But we could never be like them and sacrifice our humanity
As long as our hearts are still beating we will dissent and resist
All state sponsored oppression and violence.
