Lenape Forest from Imitations by The Gigantic Legless Cauldrons

This is my homage to my all-time heroes of Electronic Music. It incorporates elements of their music from the mid-70s to the mid-80s, the period that speaks to me most. Unlike the rest of this album, the final section is not from an improvised session but was composed in Logic with some of the Arturia "Tangerine Tribute" presets created by the redoubtable Peter Schilling. While the patches may be TD's and Peter's, the melodies are mine, but without Franke, Froese, Baumann and Schmoelling they wouldn't exist, nor would you have this album.

The Gigantic Legless Cauldrons is the name under which Simon Pride releases electronic music. The name comes from an object label from the Knossos museum in Crete, which he thought would be a great name for a band. Many years later he was able to make this a reality.
