Lyrics

See you in the morning,
I love you,
sweet dreams
Minutes, days flying past,
please don't let this be the last
Time I hold your hands in mine
See you soon
I love you
Promise you'll call
Phone's been ringing off the hook
and part of you doesn't want to look
It's time
It's time to say goodbye.
Somtimes its the only thing we nee
fitting ourselves back together piece by piece
See you sometime
It's been too long
lets keep in touch

[Poem]
Once we were moored, resting in our harbours
Free to tether ourselves to whoever we pleased.

But at somepoint and I couldn't say when, we grew restless
And only the dream of the journey ahead would put us at ease.

And soon, too soon, we found ourselves untied, unsteady in open waters.
Dizzy with the new taste of freedom that was so sweet,

So sweet thatwe left without a thought
Forgetting that something of ourselves remained in that harbour
Leaving with no grasp of when we would next meet.

Spring has cirlced round, and the waters are high
Each tide marks a clear path, forking out away, away

Each boat has its own battles with storms and wind and surf
But we're happy in the knowledge that we'll cross paths again one day.

The sea is calmer now, though we're scattered far and wide in the blue
Once in a while we'll send out a semaphore signal drenched in the past

And through winter we'll struggle with our oars, to be passing ships once more
With each goodbye more treasured, more precious than the last.
