This fall, your favorite power poppers, The Easy Button, return with a bountiful harvest from their fecund field of songs! Tiny but mighty and sporting a veritable cornucopia of strong hooks and memorable melodies, EP2 is a compact collection of “snack size” tunes sure to satisfy your sweet tooth. Ever evolving, the band has slightly recalibrated their signature formula this time around leaning into a bit more of an “in your face” sound with plenty of jangle in the guitars, bounce in the bass and drive in the drums. The overall vibe is melancholy with a tinge of hope: setting the tone perfectly for sweater weather and the onset of “spooky season.”
