Remember how I used to feel
my head was full of hopes and dreams
No worries and no dark clouds
no fears and no rainy days
They told me that`s not easy
but I was blind and I was deaf
God knew what I wanted
I didn`t need a guide

I was caught in the rat race
I didn`t even need a rest
Someone called me a hero
it was music to my ears
I thought I`d climbed the highest mountain
but I was walking on thin ice
There was nothing they could tell me
I didn`t expect the storm

And now I am where I wanted
doing what I`ve always dreamt of
But inside me there`s someone
someone calling out for help

I long for some changes
awaiting better times to come
Memories from the past
still echo in my mind
People making promises
telling me where to go
Sleepless nights and empty bottles
Is it real or just illusions?

I just want to shout and scream
all of that is not for me
Now I know
it`s an endless road
