Solarcide by The Boo Radleys
Liverpool alternative pioneers The Boo Radleys return with “Solarcide", the first release from their upcoming album. The track showcases the band’s signature blend of guitars and synth textures, continuing the creative momentum of their acclaimed recent albums “Keep On With Falling” and “Eight.”
Founding members Sice, Tim Brown, and Robert Cieka, joined by live guitarist Louis Smith, are crafting an album that bridges their experimental past with their evolved present sound. “We want to make the record we never quite got to”, says Sice. “One that bridges our noisier, dreamier beginnings with everything we’ve learned since.”
Of the single, released Friday 24th October 2025, Sice says… “the familiar themes of anger at the damaging narcissistic leanings of religious leaders are channelled through the stained glass window of the Order of the Solar Temple”.

Sice recently returned to the stage with solo acoustic shows in '19. This experience inspired Sice to perform again. He has reunited with old friends, Boo Radleys’ rhythm section Tim Brown and Rob Cieka. These three Boo Radleys have pooled their song writing talents to make two albums of emotional, evocative and atmospheric tunes. Keep in with Falling (2022) was followed quickly by Eight in 2023.
