For Everyone from Sandwalk Wood by The Bell Beat
Undeniably, this was the toughest song to complete for this album. The composition was infected for years with twists, turns, starts, and stops. At one point, it was an "easy rocker." At another, it was a prog-rock nightmare. I finally came up with the core of the final idea on my out-of-tune family room piano (while I was cleaning my house). Marina added an orchestra to the chorus.
Lyrically, this began as another contribution to the Suburban Sprawl holiday compilation. We didn't make the deadline and nearly broke-up (not because of the missed deadline).
