What's Wrong? by The Beatniks

What's wrong? The question is simple yet the answer so complex. Too complex to comprehend. We, the youth of today know this all too well. Born into a dying world, where profits are more important than people, where we have no say in decisions that directly impact our future, where women don't govern their own bodies, where excess is extreme yet there's not enough to go around. Where bedrooms are turned into prison cells, where political agendas are more important than science, where we are more connected than ever yet have never felt so alone, and where what you see is not what you get. The list goes on. And on. And on. Luckily, we are not blind, we see it clear, we see it all around us, we see it everyday. Sometimes it's all too much, and hard to carry hope, but hope is all we have, make sure you hold it close. So switch off the news, yet turn up the volume, and listen to the sound, the sound of the forgotten, the sound of the hopeless, the sound of the oppressed, people have the power, it's up to you what happens next....
