Sunday 13th of June, 7AM

I feel the need to report on what happened, as I think it is, somehow, important. Yesterday I fell asleep at 11PM and, after some hours of calm and dreamless sleep, as often happens to me, I found myself in a state of paralysis. I am used to it, therefore I wasn't worried. Soon after, though, something unusual occurred; this time I felt vibrations. Vibrations that ran through my body and that dragged what seemed to be my soul outside of the latter. At first, terrorized, I tried to resist. I had never in my life experienced something similar.

Time stopped. I took flight. I traveled between planets, then between stars. I wasn't sure if I had been moving for hours or just a few seconds, when suddenly I was wrapped in vibrations again. I found myself standing up on a meadow, surrounded by a forest. Everything seemed normal, yet alien at the same time. The trees stood out tall towards the sky. I couldn't understand if it was morning or afternoon, as the sun was overshadowed by dense branches.

I walked, explored, and, speechless, I admired the beauty of that wonderful and uncontaminated forest for a long time, until I reached an upland. There, the trees thinned out. After reaching a cliff, I looked towards the horizon, and I spotted a small house not too far away. Excited, but also preoccupied with the idea of not being alone, I started walking towards it. My expedition, though, didn't last for more than a few steps, as, suddenly, a voice coming from behind me asked: "are you going to Hesiod?".

Nothing could have prepared me for such shock. Dismayed, without even enough time to realize what had just happened, I found myself laying in my bed again.

I am sure that my experience wasn't just a dream. I am sure that the forest, the house and the stranger who spoke to me are real.

I am sure that in Hesiod there's something I have to see.
