Storyline...
In an age where Germany’s Renaissance wanes and the fires of an Industrial Age stir; the Eisenfaustreich stretches its iron grasp into the shadowed wilds of the Schwarzwald. There; in an ancient glade, they encounter a band of Pygmies; whom they name "Gnomes"; fierce; cunning folk who harry settlers with volleys of stones and cunning snares woven from root and thorn. To quell these defiant creatures; the Eisenfaustreich summons Paracelsus; a sorcerer who is a master of alchemy. With arcane rites; he brews Zaubergift; a shimmering venom that clouds the mind and saps the spirit; casting the Gnomes into a thrall of docile servitude. By tainting every river; lake; and tributary; the Eisenfaustreich enslaves colony after colony; herding the Gnomes into the claustrophobic depths of mines to harvest Jeltsphere Stone; a rare mineral pulsing with raw; eldritch energy that powers the Eisenfaustreich’s towering forges and war machines. Follow along to hear the tale of a Nameless Gnome, who rises up in rebellion.
