The Anthronauts by The Anthronauts
The Anthronauts are a Zürich (Switzerland) based Afrobeat band brought together by their love for the music of Fela Kuti and Tony Allen. Founded in 2016 by bassist Wolf Wohlwend and drummer Alexis Malefakis playing along to a tape recorder, the band has in the meantime grown into a 10+ piece big band. Their debut album features the South African singer Nongoma Ndlovu and a dubmix by the late Reggae-legend Lee "Scratch" Perry.
