The dream of exploring the North Pole became the grim fate of three individuals. The Aeronaut used this source of inspiration to create the album "Expedition ONE".
The year was 1897, and engineer Salomon August Andrée, Knut Frænkel, and Nils Strindberg decided to travel by hydrogen balloon from Spitsbergen in Svalbard toward the North Pole in a fateful polar expedition.
