- written from Tiffany’s perspective, “Mothers” tells the story of how she lost her mother when she was 4, but also includes the perspective of her own children, James and Samantha, who suffer from Tiffany’s neglect. Set in 2005.

Tiffany runs,
From her children to sin.
Everyday life feels suffocating,
To the child she hides within.
Scared and lonely,
And motherless too,
She tries to remember her,
But not a clue,
Just a feeling, an image or two,
Before she succumbed to the illness.
