Flyway by Tern

Tern's debut album Flyway celebrates the cultural interchange between Scotland and Scandinavia including traditional tunes as well as modern compositions. All the music was selected and arranged collaboratively by the band and showcases the individuality of all 5 members in a musical setting that shifts focus between tone and texture, contemplative moods and bursts of energy, all encompassed in a deep search for voicing of place and the acknowledgment of the importance of traditional arts in the times we live in and the times yet to come.
