Float by Tender Ender

Everything changes but this place. It’s always there, it’s always open, and it’s where your heart rests. What reads like the opening to a guided meditation, describes the state of mind you might enter while listening to Tender Ender’s new single “Float”. But instead of a zen master’s soft voice, some kind of pendulous organ takes you by the hand and leads the way. Never mind the trail of dirt that is clinging to your heels, you will gather more of that. While the bearer of the mantra is waiting for you, you are provided with a simple pulse, just in case you lose track of your breathing. It’s a black space, but it’s a warm place. And there goes your mind already. Carried away by the bearer’s voice. Making you aware that this time you’re just fine without it.
