The Pulsar Frequency album was designed to mimic te Crab pulsar frequency. The star is the central star in the Crab Nebula and it's beams rotate once every 33 milliseconds, or 30 times each second. It consists of soothing and pulsing synth music embedded with upper Beta (30 Hz) brainwave pulses. It also has several sci-fi sound effects of light beams.
The Beta brainwave state is associated with a heightened state of alertness and focused concentration. So individuals in this state are awake and alert. This is generally the mental state most people are in during the day. Stimulating beta activity can improve our emotional stability, energy levels, attentiveness and concentration.
