Sirens, much like the proceeding single, is packed with nostalgia and retro finesse.
Sirens was actually the first song written for this new chapter of the sineghost crossover and served as the foundation from which the entire EP evolved. It features an uptempo beat crafted on the unmistakeable LinnDrum, accompanied by a driving synth bassline that lays the groundwork for Alex's lead vocals — evoking a melancholic mood reminiscent of Depeche Mode.
Beyond the longing, moody, yet epic lyrics, one of the track's highlights is a soulful, Justice influenced bridge with ethereal vocals by Jennifer, and most notably a flashy guitar solo toward the end — a nod to '80s guitar pyrotechnics and a testament to Alex's exceptional musicianship.
