Through Foundation by Taylor Ho Bynum & Tomas Fujiwara
Well met in the spring of 1993, in the hallways of Taylor's line, Tomas being an import from a neighboring bridge. (Through honored miles, brought in by the first, but not the last, connection encore and coda.) Ice cream concerts while still pups, then a reunion in a city new. Late night sessions at the radio station, not yet on air. Taylor returns north and Tomas is again imported for some mumbo jumbo. An interval of beantown celebrations and stomping travels, but a connection maintained; in '04 returning to a shared garden. Full flower, a variety of threes and fours and sixes, assemblies and catastrophes, and throughout, the duo. Two players, now two decades. Onwards.
