Notice by Tomas Fujiwara & Taylor Ho Bynum
The fourth album from the collaborative duo of drummer Tomas Fujiwara and cornetist Taylor Ho Bynum, and their first in 10 years, following "True Events" (recorded in 2006), "Stepwise" (2009), and "Through Foundation" (2012). After a fantastic day in the studio with the collective quartet Illegal Crowns, Taylor and Tomas still had energy to burn, so reconvened for an impromptu late night session and captured something special - the next chapter in a long musical conversation, documented here as an uninterrupted 32-minute performance.

Taylor Ho Bynum and Tomas Fujiwara have played together in dozens of groups on countless gigs since they first met as teenagers growing up around Boston. In addition to their collaborative duo, they play together in Bynum’s Sextet and PlusTet, Fujiwara's Triple Double, and the collective ensemble Illegal Crowns, among much else.
