What will be the long term effects of colliding opposing particle beams of either protons at an energy of 7 teraelectronvolts (7 TeV or 1.12 microjoules) per particle, or lead nuclei at an energy of 574 TeV (92.0 µJ) per nucleus? I've used the sample data obtained from the Large Hadron Collider, Synthgear remix comp, I've tried to keep the structure of the samples intact - as this is the most interesting feature about them, once chopped around too much they sound like any other synth sample. I've changed the bit rate in some parts and used tape to record the vocal element, the spool of the tape spins like a little black hole and the limiting circuit in the portable tape recorder compresses the sound like time might be compressed inside the black hole. Everyone in the track ultimately gets swallowed up by the swirling mass - leaving nothing but the apparatus of the LHC ticking and ringing away..
