Cold Hands from Detached by Tape Moon

With the double-release of the songs Cold Hands & Sunday Evening, Tape Moon gives us another glimpse into the upcoming album Detached.

The combination of these two titles is no coincidence. Both songs deal with feelings of loneliness in a world that seems more connected than ever.

While the driving beat in Cold Hands reflects the anxieties of overthinking and not being good enough, Sunday Evening is characterized by sparsely arranged percussions and mysterious piano chords that underscore the eerie emptiness of certain days.

Musically distinct, yet lyrically and thematically united.

With a mixture of melodic lo-fi psych-pop & experimental ambient elements, Tape Moon creates a nostalgic setting for movies never shot. The soundtrack to strange dreams or moments we long for, even though we’ve never experienced them.
