Should 2025 be the year of mixtapes for TAKENINAKE? It very well may be, hence this dual homage by longtime friend and admirator emla more aka witty moniker aka deep grouse; "memlamix" summons the Holy Nerd Spirit and aims to expose in a thorough but fun manner specific intricacies of corresponding musical phenomenas: PC Music's mythical sampled uses of their own IDL's "Life Sim" and the life and legacy of Aphex Twin's "Avril 14th". emla more is a specialist in parallels and hidden metaphors, and "memlamix" itself is the first part of a duology, the second release "emlavoo" coming before the summer on TAKENINAKE.
