RAZUM from PHI by Tahabdra
RAZUM blends sound design concepts akin to Ivy Lab and Noisia with a dark hiphop groove along with ethereal vocal samples. With all the synths and vocals tuned to the unique Tahabdra tuning system, "RAZUM" captures the ideal of the project - bridging electronic bass music with music therapy principals & the universal constants golden ratio & Fibonacci sequence. "RAZUM" literally translating to "mind" from Russian, is cerebral yet danceable, an exploration in bringing intellectual dance music to a new level.
Tahabdra is a live electronic duo blending bass-centric production, acoustic drumming, and a unique tuning system centered on 528Hz, also using the golden ratio and Fibonacci sequence.
They've performed throughout the US and collaborate internationally with Juno Reactor. They've also collaborated w/ Grouch in Dub.
