Altered Ego by SXOKONDO
After 2 EPs (in 2014 and 2020), Sxokondo releases its first album, called "Altered Ego", on the 28th of October 2022, on Division Records.
This album is a new beginning for the band and the result of various reflections, including the will to work in a DIY and especially local spirit. By working with Kevin Galland from Studio Mécanique for the recording and mixing, then with Christoph Noth for the mastering, both being established in La Chaux-de-Fonds. The recording itself took place during a week at the Glaucal in Courfaivre, in the Swiss Jura.
The lyrics were written by Sébastien (vocals) and by Max (guitars) and were in part inspired by the time of the pandemic and the deep social disruption it caused.
