Inversion by Sweet Freeze

This delicate, dynamic lofi EP was created exclusively by using and combining individual sounds and musical phrases from my previous release, "Effusion," along with new vocals.

This is the first music I've composed on a laptop vs by performing (though the sounds themselves were all originally recorded on 8-track).

Together the songs form a narrative arc with themes of isolation, grief, risk, and hope. I hope the music resonates with you.

Breakdown of sounds: Irretrievable pulls sounds from (4) different songs from the Effusion album; Flutter (7); Slack in the Rope (6); Heartbeat Like a Hummingbird (6); and First Forage (5). Sounds from all 8 Effusion songs appear on this EP.
