surprise! new song! i wrote "33" exactly one year ago on my 33rd birthday, ruminating about being "jesus aged". i think what my early 30s have shown me the most is that i'm happiest when i can dust the chip off my shoulder, compare myself less to others, not project my own self-hatred onto everyone around. the world we live in is constantly telling us "you win or you die" but i'm trying my darndest to just be like, "you win because you are alive".
