Trevor and Travis Stuart learned to play old-time mountain music from members of their community in Haywood County, North Carolina and surrounding counties, including Byard Ray, the Smathers Family, and North Carolina Folk Heritage Award recipient Red Wilson. Trevor passed away in 2016. Travis Stuart is available to play for concerts, festivals, dances, and to teach workshops.
