Spktr by Striborg

This is a rehearsal track (short version) recorded in early June 2018.
The piece was later performed live at Mona with additional instruments:
guzheng, bass clarient, electric violin and trumpet (members of The Australian Art Orchestra) for 4 nights in a row (1 hour performance) to coincide with Ryoji Ikeda's Spectra light installation.

This track doesn’t represent the future work of Striborg.
Composed & recorded in a state of vertigo due to head trauma after a ladder accident.

No multi-tracking or overdubs were made, just a Roland JD-XI, ARP Odyssey and Arturia DrumBrute played simultaneously through a 4-track mixer and recorded onto one stereo track via ProTools.

The Spktr track will be released on the ABIGORUM / STRIBORG - Spectral Shadows CD, November the 6th via Satanath Records / Death Portal Studios.

Blackwave is a progression of darkwave music.
It has nothing to do with black metal! Blackwave is free of ‘metal’.
This rehearsal only partially incorporates the blackwave style among improvised electronics.
