Connect by Animatronix
Animatronix brings us his new downtempo release, "Connect". Written in 432 Hz, all of the tracks intend to tell a story while healing the listener through the resonance of love. Animatronix creates an intellectually psychedelic atmosphere by fusing elements from psydub, psytrance, and glitch hop. The "Intro" prepares the listener for the journey, advising them to ground themselves and connect. "Intro" flows seamlessly into "Psychoplasmic", a chill midtempo psystep track that slowly builds itself up and down through creative layering, setting the mood for the entire release. "Rhythem Of Dreams" slows things down to a dub-like rhythm, allowing the glitchy edits room to breathe and echo. While the entire release can be labeled as being downtempo, all of the tracks are filled with plenty of low-end and funky rhythms that would move the dance floor.
