Odiar Evil by Strangelander

Odiar Evil was recorded live on WMSE (91.7FM), by Milwaukee's sonic wizard, Billy Cicerelli. Billy is a Milwaukee treasure (as is WMSE) who has recorded hundreds if not thousands of bands who almost always say 'that was the best I ever sounded.'
Billy threw the setup together about as quickly and effortlessly as any sound engineer could. It almost sounds like it was recorded at Abbey Road!
Repeated listenings reveal more and more layers of subtle interaction, as this is the special power of Strangelander.

The cover art is a modified panel of Bosch's Garden, like some of the artwork from SL I, but notice the skulking figure just South of center. This is a figure that Bosch may have erased from the final work, but the very slightest outline could be vaguely discerned, so I brought it back to life.

When Billy and I were listening to the final mix in his upper sanctum (the best stereo system you will encounter), he told me this was one of his crowning achievements in his long and storied live recording career.
