Private Idaho from Shrieking Violets by Strangebyrds
I wrote this song about my family of origin and about moving into a more authentic space. We live in the middle of nowhere in Colorado so the reference to "Private Idaho" is more a reference of creating a space for yourself where you feel honored and safe and not listening to those around you who try to hold or keep you down.
