We started writing this album the night my daughter showed Grandma how to use video chat. Three generations huddled around that cracked iPad screen, laughing as the kettle whistled in the background. That's Stovelit in a nutshell – we're the soundtrack to your kitchen table revelations.

"Porcelain WiFi" captures those moments where our old familiar worlds collide with buzzing screens and notification pings. It's about recipe cards tucked into phone cases, grocery lists split between apps and magnetic notepads, and those late-night group chats that somehow feel like sitting together even when we're miles apart.

We recorded most tracks right here at home – you might even catch the sound of actual coffee mugs clinking between verses on "Lipstick on Mugs" or the frustrated slam of a drawer during "Crash Course Calm" (after Mom's third attempt to restart the router).

The Rhodes keyboard became our heartbeat, warm and worn like a familiar countertop. We layered in upright bass, some gentle acoustic guitar, and yes – that's actually us tapping spatulas against mixing bowls for percussion. No fancy studio tricks here, just three women making music between loads of laundry.

From the dreamy waltz of "Blue Light Waltz" to the frantic sticky-note energy of "Sticky Notes Parade," we've tried to bottle the bittersweet reality of being the ones who hold everything together – even when the WiFi won't cooperate.

By the time you reach "Porcelain Trophies," we hope you'll raise your own chipped mug in solidarity. Because sometimes just making it through the day deserves a trophy, doesn't it?
