Camper by Alice

This prime example of high-mid Alice features Art Mora on drums and Becky Sturdivant on sax. These are strategy based arrangements with improvised live cores and overdubs, all from 2-track reel-to-reel and 4-track cassette. Originally made available on cassette in 1987, of which only a few friends might have received one and the sound quality... well... thanks to modern digital technology and much knob turning these recordings have been salvaged and saved for the piece of history that they are. They were made during yet another time of world and national turmoil as reflected in the lyrics and intensity of the playing.

Stick uh Butter is the production library of musicians / artists during the 1980s and 90s. Headed by the core of Baird, Malinoski, Weaver -known then as Alice and currently as Pipestem- here is recorded evidence of those groups of like minds and their experiments, expressions and musical adventures that spread beyond KY from New England to AZ and beyond.
