ottmar and i first crossed paths through a mutual admiration and love of the music of jon hassell. (thankyou jon!)
we have parlayed this into several magic collaborations. ottmar is musically brilliant. i know that those who know his music are right beside me nodding their heads as i write these words.)
in this instance, i sent him some raw music stems because i thought that they might have a place in some music he could bring to this place.
ottmar has this extraordinary ability to hear inside, around, past and beyond my music and then to bring his extraordinary detailed, fullness of the musical world he lives in and expands on constantly, to bear.
