Silver tail by Steve Nickel
In 2002, Steve went to Europe, and during this time he began developing the new musical concepts that are realized on these sounds.
This tune “Silver tail” was created on 8/8/2017.
“Sound medicine” is the series of healing music with sound frequency.
It is the gem piece of Otodama, meaning Sound Spirit, that he gave birth to in the last three years of his life.
The sound calls us to the galactic universe.
Steveは1965年3月26日京都生まれの日本人。15歳で単身渡米。
サンフランシスコの音楽学校でギターの基礎を学び、バスキングをしながら様々な音楽に触れる。
1988年の帰国後は日本国内を放浪し、
様々なアーティストとのセッションに参加する一方で
インプロビゼーション色の濃い多数のバンド「カミヒトエ」、ユニット「Native Alien」等を率いる。
2002年よりソロ活動に入る。
たった一本のギターにより、スケール感の大きな楽曲を生み出し続け、全ての音をリアルタイムで同時に演奏します。
Sound medicine シリーズは、彼が最後の3年間に生み出した
珠玉の音霊シリーズです。
”Silver tail” は銀河宇宙へ私たちをいざなう。
