Personal Jesus from The Concreter by Steve Blaque & The Raven

A song I had great respect for in my live shows, since I just loved playing the riff and singing over it. The arrangement here was pretty close. to how i played it acoustically. It took some time though to get the instrumentation right and one of the positives here is LR taking over the bass duties. He'd only recently picked up a P bass and with our back n' forths i'd seen him playing a bass with new strings and a pick, which is something i rarely do....(sadly also playing with new strings)....my own bass take was solid but played with fingers and for this song i really wanted that harder edge and stronger transient you get from plucking a string with a pick rather than with a finger....
