Stuck in the basement of a beehive, engulfed in wasps and hornets
Sting me, destroy me
Penetrate my pale flesh
A month goes by, scabs have formed all over my body
Covered in blood, toxins and tears
A mirror, easily broken
I can’t believe what I’m seeing, what I’m feeling
Another month goes by, they believe I’ve been punished enough
They mummify me in honey
Unable to breath, unable to articulate thoughts

And I’m dead

The underworld isn’t as bad as they say it is
Flames, torture, and Hades’ androgyny
Their little servants torture, punish, and tantalize all the wrongdoers
A world of torment and terror
Terrified and frightened, trying to not bring attention to myself
I stay in the shallow corner of a creatures’ cave
I’m eventually punished, being stabbed by pitchforks and daggers
I feel as if I never deserved any of this pain
