chordata by Stationary Movement

Chordates are a phylum of animals which possess a notochord and a dorsal nerve cord. chordata is an album consisting of songs written with strings or "cords" up front. The focus was beauty and structure over splatter and impression. This album is one half of a bigger project (double album) with it's companion piece, Brekaria, to follow.

To celebrate the Earth Day release date, half of all proceeds from the album will be donated to One Tree Planted, a non-profit organization dedicated to reforestation across the globe, creating jobs amongst the local communities during the process. Their idea is simple - “One dollar. One tree.” - providing a concrete way to contribute to environmental conservation. I will donate to the Atlantic Forest project in Brazil, which has seen 90% of its forestry diminish over the past few decades. Trees are important, for all life needs them. Read more below:
