Ok, do forgive the above attempt at some pretentious poetry/ prose :) Downshift started off as simple notes on a clean electric guitar, with a long delay and reverb. Then it became an experiment to see how to incorporate multiple-tempos within the same track. If you listen all the way to the end of the track, you might understand why the track is titled as such."
