Light by Spisfire
Composed in 2009 using Virtual Music Studio, with VST instruments and samples, LIGHT follows the path set by Black Flower, while asserting a more personal and distinctive style. This is not a purely instrumental album: several tracks, such as Dazzle and Sparkle in the Rain, feature female vocals used as melodic elements, adding warmth and emotion far beyond the coldness often associated with electronic music.
As critic Balthaze described it:
"An intimate, melancholic, and sensory music — meant to be listened to attentively. A sonic mapping of waves, textures, and discreet rhythms, evoking memories and sensations."
The track When the Sun Goes Down perfectly reflects this sensitivity, with its complex melody and gradual build-up, immersing the listener in a twilight-like atmosphere.
Sparkle in the Sky is another standout, a track that deeply resonated with listeners. As one review puts it:
"Sparkle in the Sky was so ethereal, so light, carried by a powerful beat and a floating melody… a track that lifts you up, makes you float into the stars. A true beauty."
LIGHT sparked genuine interest at the time of its release, and confirmed the growing artistic universe of the artist.
