Oh nostalgia – hard to believe, it’s been 22 years since Maurice Pinkster, man of many names and trades, introduced his Maui Pentocosto moniker – and with it kicked off the Spirit of Progress label, which has since been a steady source of class techno entertainment, distinctly different from his otherwise industrial enterprises.

So here’s the biz: Two hard techno tracks, very much of the present, with the energetic “Dagobah” referencing the quirks of everyone’s favourite science fiction character Yoda. Meanwhile, 'Grass' surprises listeners with its unlikely connections, blending melodic arpeggios with firm beats to create a truly mesmerizing experience.
