From the hidden world music seeps
and with the sunlight crosses over
a soft voice from memory speaks of another land
figures moving just out of sight
in the shadows you can't quite catch it
moving through the dappled light stands the horned man

He's watching you, he'll follow you
he's taking time from the green wood
You'll hear his tune, it's on the wind
it's the pipes of Pan

And from the borrow mounds
from dark secret places
where salmon wisdom dreams in rivers cold and deep
beyond the hidden world
spirits stir at his passing
Pan walks on cloven hooves to where the old Gods sleep
