Spatial Awareness returns to Hottwerk with "Lenya"; featuring three different iterations of the track, the EP opens with the original version - exploring further the taut, Detroit infused electro sound that Spatial Awareness tapped into on his release from Sous Music earlier this year, "The Day That God Went Mad".
Following is the Temazeparty Dub - a low-slung, throbbing dancefloor chugger; and the third version ups the tempo and the noise quotient with the Industrial Complex, revealing a youth well spent listening to Nine Inch Nails and Ministry.
Named for the iconic actress and sporting artwork inspired by her most infamous role, the release date for Lenya also coincides with the start of a new dj residency for Spatial Awareness at Socialism, a new nocturnal home for fans of electronic music in his hometown of Southend-on-Sea.
