Nada Prakasha by Jacek Chmiel

Nada Prakasha, meaning “Light of Sound,” is an album by improviser, sound therapist and artist Jacek (Sonz de Luz) that invites you into a world of deep relaxation and self-reflection. Combining the soothing tones of singing bowls, gongs, and Tibetan bells, the album offers a calming and immersive listening experience.
The tracks are created using Peter Hess therapeutic singing bowls and other resonant instruments. From the gentle vibrations of the bowls to the rich, grounding tones of gongs, the album strikes a balance between calm and depth. Each piece encourages moments of meditation, introspection, and emotional ease.
Inspired by Jacek’s time in Nepal and his background in sound therapy, Nada Prakasha is a space for healing and renewal.

Jacek Chmiel is a dedicated sound therapist and artist, deeply engaged in the therapeutic use of sound. As a Member of the International Association of Sound Massage Therapy e.V., Jacek’s journey into sound therapy was profoundly influenced by his role as the head of the guitar department at the Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory in Nepal. It was here that he first encountered the transformative efects of singing bowls, sparking his interest in sound therapy. Jacek holds a Master’s degree in jazz guitar from the Conservatorio Benedetto Marcello in Venice, Italy. His experiance in sound therapy is further supported by a course in Peter Hess sound massage, and a Master’s in Improvisation from the Musik Akademie Basel in Switzerland. As a certified practitioner of the Peter Hess sound massage technique, Jacek applies this specialized knowledge in his therapeutic practice.
